Meet Bro. Bob Jones

His chief role is to advise the present on and give historical precedent of the chapter. A native of Durham NC; Brother Jones is a 1968 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. through the Beta Chapter. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University. He also serves the Fraternity in the role of Chair of the Alpha Phi Alpha Building Foundation.

Professionally, Bro. Jones is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Bethursday Development Corporation where he oversees community development efforts. In addition to Alpha, he currently serves Deacon, Trustee, and Assistant to Pastor for Development at Antioch Baptist Church; Delegate for the Atlanta Planning Advisory Board; and Lane Use Zoning Housing Committee – English Avenue Neighborhood Association.  He has a lovely wife, Elizabeth a.k.a. “Penny.”
