Greetings Brothers and Friends of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

​It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 107th House of Alpha and Mother Chapter of Alpha in Atlanta, GA. I am Dr. Avery Kenly, and I have the honor of serving as the 39th President of the exceptional and award-winning Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Eta Lambda Chapter.  As we are 102 years young, we are a chapter committed to Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love For All Mankind. As one of the largest chapters in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., we hope that you find our honest devotion to serving our community, the Atlanta-Metropolitan area, to be exemplary, kindly, and fraternal. 

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was founded on December 4, 1906, at Cornell University by Seven courageous, visionary, tenacious, astute, and esteemed college men. These seven scholars are known within our Fraternity as the Jewels of Our Fraternity. Since our origin, Alpha Men have long recognized that there is a wealth of satisfaction for giving our all and helping causes unfalteringly as we rally to Alpha’s call. We delight in our opportunity to be your advocate, servicing our community, and aiding in the downtrodden of humanity. No matter your walk of life, the #AtlantaAlphas will always strive to be the treasury of good fellowship. So welcome!

​Our communities, our youth, and your needs are our priority as we strive to advocate for the betterment of the Atlanta-Metropolitan community. Community-building is a part of our commitment to you. It is through our strategic planning, civic engagement, educational support, and the power of brotherhood that we continue to expand our footprint and provide vital resources to impact and empower the community.

Since our chapter’s charter on May 20, 1920, we the #AtlantaAlphas have strived to constantly invoke principles which make for common brotherhood. So if you are a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and looking for a chapter home, we invite you to join the ranks of the 107th House of Alpha, where we exemplify that GOODWILL IS THE MONARCH OF THIS HOUSE. Our noble and visionary fourteen charter members have laid the foundation for our chapter to move ONWARD TOGETHER, UPWARD TOGETHER, AND STRONGER TOGETHER. So we need you Brothers! Our dear, A Phi A, fraternal spirit is in need of your gifts and talents. Together, we can have a greater impact and effectuate greater change.

​To our friends of this chapter and our beloved fraternity, we invite you to come to our events, meet our members, and engage in our companionship. We would love to hear from you! I know and realize that our chapter did not become the eight-time International Chapter of Year, nine-time Southern Regional Chapter of the Year, have six General Presidents, six Regional Vice-Presidents, six District Directors, and seven International Brothers of the Year without your support.
